The buyer of the SA dagger said when he received it,
that it was far more beautiful than the photos on the auction.

BUYER'S TIPS
A word to the wise.............we know that some
bidders like to wait for the last moment to place their bids - but is that
always a good thing? In our August Sharkhunters Auction, a bidder was
waiting until the last moment to place his bid but his wife got sick and he had
to rush her to the hospital. He missed his chance to bid and the item was
not bid on by anyone, so the item went back into stock. Fortunately for
him, that item is back on the list for this month. It is okay to wait if
that is your style - but one never knows when something will happen to change
your plans.
Click
on our emblem here to see all the benefits of Membership including a FREE
photo that has been hand-signed by the veteran. Almost 100 veterans, all
Sharkhunters Members, hand-signed 100 each of their photos for us to give to new
Members. Most of these are not available anywhere else in the world.
Don't miss your opportunity - join now.

This is the book about the
discovery of a sunken U-Boat off the American east coast by JOHN
CHATTERTON (1818-1991) and his partner Richie Kohler. JOHN
called here the evening of 2 September 1991 to tell Sharkhunters Founder
and President HARRY COOPER (1-LIFE-1983) about this
find........it was COOPER's birthday. Initially known as
"U-WHO", it was Sharkhunters that first identified the boat as
U-869, which was later confirmed by sources in Germany.
Three of the divers died on this wreck - one in late 1991, two (father
and son) on the first dive of 1992. |
