GEORGE was a combat veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard in World War II and saw combat action in the North Atlantic.  After his retirement, GEORGE became an avid researchers, digging into the various intelligence services employed by organizations that one would not think had an Intelligence Service - such as the USCG and the Vatican.

It was difficult to walk through his small house because he had literally thousands and thousands of books, magazines and publications of all types stacked floor to ceiling and from wall to wall in addition to all the printed matter in his numerous bookcases.
