 It is not necessary to go into all the outstanding accomplishments of this man, the most successful fighter pilot of all time.  Col. ERICH HARTMANN, known as "Bubbi" to his friends, downed 352 confirmed enemy aircraft in his career.  It is almost certain that this feat will never be overshadowed again in history.....and is an accomplishment that will stand forever.  Truly, the world's greatest fighter pilot.
