"Red" NORDENBERG
served in World War II and rode USS SARGO. When he returned to the
USA after the war, he found to his sorrow, that his girlfriend had married
someone else. "Red" was so much in love with this girl
and so devastated that he never found another who could fill the void, and so he
never married.
He worked for the United States Post Office until retirement and was always very
active with the World War II Submarine Veterans. He was also quite active
with Sharkhunters and gave us many stories about his time on the SARGO.
