Graduating with a degree in Physical Education from Florida State University, RICOU went into movies first then into television.  Does he look familiar?  RICOU was the creature in the well known film "Creature from the Black Lagoon" which incidentally, was filmed about 25 miles from our Sharkhunters HQ.  RICOU was the "Creature" during the underwater shots while another actor portrayed that part for the on land shots.  The "Big John" referred to on this photo is another Sharkhunters Member, JOHN McLAUGHLIN 138-1985 who was a highly accomplished underwater photographer..

RICOU then went into the production end of television and brought us such classics as the "Flipper" TV series and he worked on the movies "Caddy Shack", "Thunderball" and "Never say Never Again".

RICOU has been retired for some years now.
