Recent inventory in our stockroom has turned up a small quantity of some very
rare books. They're all autographed but there are not many of each in
stock. Once they are gone - there can be no more. These are RARE
BOOKS!
SHINANO!
The sinking of Japan's Secret Supership
This hardbound book, written by the late Captain Joseph Enright (Sharkhunters
Member 2142-+-1992) tells of the sinking of Japan's super aircraft carrier by
the American submarine USS ARCHER-FISH under command of Enright.
Captain Edward L. ('Ned') Beach wrote this about the book:
"This is an extremely
interesting part of naval history that carries its own fascinations. Any
person interested in either navy will find it hard to put down. An
undeniable contribution to the naval lore of submarine combat in World War
II. No one in the U. S. Navy fully understood what drove SHINANO to
her doom, least of all the submarine Skipper who sank her. Since the war,
he has spent thirty years unraveling the story. Here it is, brilliantly
described but also full of compassion, the result of Joe Enright's unparalleled
research into the documents and memories of Japan's Imperial Navy."
There are only a handful of copies of this book, AUTOGRAPHED by
Captain Enright shortly before his death. SORRY
- ALL SOLD OUT!
Your copy will have his personal signature, but order now because once these few
are gone - there can be no more.

HITLER, GÖRING
and the OBERSALZBERG
by Col. SS
Bernhard Frank
This hardbound book, written by SS
Col. Bernhard Frank (Sharkhunters Member #3225-1993) is an outstanding
look into the intrigues that went on in the inner circle. Much has been
written about Hitler, but still not much is known about him. There has
been only a little written about the real Hitler until this book, which covers
the weaknesses of Hitler - mainly his dependency on the 'Grey Eminence'
of his private secretary - Martin Bormann, are made clear. The author was
commander of the defense system on the Obersalzberg, where many of the leaders
of the Reich had homes, and he watched Bormann's intrigues from mid-1943 until
the end of the war. While the fronts broke down in the east and west, in
the north and south - Bormann kept grimly at his hatred of Göring.
Without considering the German soldiers bleeding to death on the battlefield or
the victims of bombing attacks, he kept grimly at his hatred of his rival.
The dramatic events on the Obersalzberg before the breakdown, especially in the
case of Göring, are covered in this book. A few days before the end of
the war, it was Col. Frank who received the order from Bormann to arrest and
execute Göring!
