The Youngest
Combat Skipper

A few months past his 21st birthday,
Oblt. zur See der Reserve HANS-GEORG HESS took command of U-995 and became the youngest combat
submarine commander during World War II -- possibly the youngest ever in the
history of submarine warfare.
HESS took
command of U-995 in August of 1944, a time when 9 out of 10
German U-boats were destroyed on their first mission - he brought his boat
and his men back from five successful war patrols. He was a brave, fearless commander and
soon won the Knight's Cross to the
Iron Cross.
Now you may own a
limited edition (only 1,000 made) print of Captain HESS. The actual size of
this rare print is 11" x 14", perfect for framing and hanging in
your den.
Captain Hess has hand-signed all
1,000 of these prints.
This print is even more valuable now as Captain HESS has begun his "Eternal
Patrol".
Prints are individually numbered and ownership registered with
Sharkhunters.
10% of all money from the
sale of these prints is donated to the U-Boat Memorial and the U-Boat Archive in Germany.
