We went back to Germany in 2000 and shot more interviews with veterans of the U-boat wars.  Jürgen Oesten was Skipper of U-61, U-106 and U-861; he earned the Knights Cross and was also Flotillen-Chef of the 9^th U-bootflottille.  He tells even more about his time in the war in the Atlantic, the Arctic, the Pacific and the Indian Ocean.  Not many submarine Skippers saw action in so many oceans, and Captain Oesten talks about those times.  There are things in this tape that are not on any other videotapes.
