This is the story of the B-29 known as the ROVER BOYS
EXPRESS, told by Lt. 'Hap'
Halloran. They were shot down over Japan and Hap was taken
prisoner. He talks about the
bombing strategy and operations, but he also speaks in depth about the
experiences in the P.o.W. camp. It was brutal, but he met and became friends with the most
famous prisoner in the camp, Marine Corps Major Greg ‘Pappy’
Boyington.
