SHARKHUNTERS International
the Fortress that called in the fire.

When SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN was firing on the Polish military facility at Westerplate, the Observation Post was here.

This is the tower where the observers called in the fire from SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN.

It is a long way up the tower that served as the OP, but we go up for a look.  The Polish Flag flies at the top of the tower today.

From atop the OP, we can see how very close

SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN was to the city - point blank range!

Now we go from far, far above the battlefield to down,

down deep into the chambers beneath the fortress.
